Do you want to make a real difference in students' development and learning? At Mölleskolan, literacy learning is a central part of our pedagogical work. We are now looking for a licensed teacher with a special education degree focused on language, reading, and writing development.

Mölleskolan has approximately 200 students in grades F-6. The school operates a co-teaching system, and teachers collaborate closely with the special education teacher.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a special education teacher, you will work closely with students, both individually, in small groups, and in the classroom. You prioritize close collaboration with classroom teachers, the student health team, and guardians to create the best possible conditions for learning. The position is focused on grades 4-6, with a particular emphasis on reading and writing development, as well as some special education interventions in mathematics.

You will teach students in need of special support, primarily in Swedish and mathematics. Your work includes conducting pedagogical assessments and developing action plans, as well as collaborating with classroom teachers and the student health team to create an inclusive learning environment. You will actively contribute to the school's development work regarding accessible teaching and early support initiatives while leading collegial efforts and promoting collaboration within the work team. The role also involves documenting and following up on interventions according to established procedures and maintaining close and continuous contact with both students and guardians to ensure good communication and participation.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a special education degree focused on language, reading, and writing development.

Experience working with students in need of special support, particularly in reading and writing development, preferably in grades 4-6. Good knowledge of reading and writing acquisition and language development methods.

You are experienced in working with pedagogical documentation and using digital tools in daily work. You are confident in analyzing results and developing action plans at both group and individual levels. Experience collaborating with the student health team, guardians, and colleagues is a natural part of your working method.

You also have experience creating accessible teaching and using compensatory aids to meet diverse needs. Additionally, you have good knowledge of relationship-building work with students with neuropsychiatric disorders.
